So our district is in the process of buying new uniforms (VERY early in the process). I was wondering what things you wish you’d done differently with the acquisition of your uniforms. I’d rather learn from your mistakes than make my own. Specific topics:
Funding (I just found out that a football uniform costs more than a marching band uniform!)
Style (snap hems?)
Manufacturers
Anything else you think I should know
We like the snap hems. I think all 3 Cheyenne school use it. We used FJMiller. You can give them some ideas and then they will send you a pic of the idea. I’ve used DeMoulin in the past too.
They take about 6 months to make so plan for that.
Buy for the band you hope to have, not the band you think you might have
