    Hello all!

I was looking at more simple folk dances for Kindergarten and First Graders! Simple circle dances more specifically. Any and all suggestions are welcome.

Thank you! Hope you have a wonderful start to your school year!

I have used 7 jumps and Les Saluts with this grade. I’ve also modified Sasha and done a two hand turn instead of a right or left arm swing.

Heel Toe Polka (Chimes of Dunkirk) is a great one for first grade. Ridding in a Buggy (kodaly.hnu.edu) is also a fun circle, no changing partners so easier. Most of my kinder movement is scatter/independent. It also depends on whether I’m doing for a concept or for a concert. I’m happy to provide you with more!
