ACDA will be holding their annual Fall Workshop at Casper College Saturday, September 28, from 8:30-4:00. Our focus this year is on teaching music in Rural Settings, with topics including:
Core Curriculum
Working with Ensembles with Varied Individual Ability
Adapting Music to fit Ensembles
and also Roundtable discussions about Festivals, Curriculum Resources, and Creative Performance Ideas.
The day will end with a bring-and-share reading session, so your are encouraged to bring your favorite pieces that work well in a wide variety of situations to share with other choral conductors in the state.
