If you’re unfamiliar with them\, they are a Seattle-based indie/contemporary jazz vocal ensemble. They have won three Grammy awards in 2021\, 2024\, and 2025. Some of you may remember Amanda Taylor who conducted the WY All-State Jazz Choir a few years back and was a member of Groove for Thought. This year\, we are opening with a big band of the Wyoming Jazz Educators under the direction of Eric Richards and Frank Cook. It’s always fun to perform for (and hear performances of) our colleagues.
