DESCRIPTION:Casper College will be hosting the Casper College Kinser Jazz Festival on February 9-11\, 2026 at Casper College in Casper\, Wyoming. \n \nThey have three outstanding adjudicators coming this year: Kara Baxter from Lincoln\, NE\, Wil Swindler from Colorado State University\, and Bailey Grogan from UNC. \n \nThe direct link to register for ensembles is here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/2026-kinser-jazz–festival-tickets-1481382517989?aff=oddtdtcreator \n \nThe headliner on Tuesday night will be säje. If you’re unfamiliar with them\, they are a Seattle-based indie/contemporary jazz vocal ensemble. They have won three Grammy awards in 2021\, 2024\, and 2025. Some of you may remember Amanda Taylor who conducted the WY All-State Jazz Choir a few years back and was a member of Groove for Thought. This year\, we are opening with a big band of the Wyoming Jazz Educators under the direction of Eric Richards and Frank Cook. It’s always fun to perform for (and hear performances of) our colleagues.
