The Department of Music at UW will officially open the Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts on Thursday, October 8, 2015.
Full building tours begin at 5:30 PM, including opportunities to see the new state-of-the-art rehearsal halls in use, the building’s expansion, classrooms and music studios.
The finale of the evening will be the UW Symphony Orchestra’s season opening concert with guest ensemble, the UW Collegiate Chorale. Enjoy selections by Gershwin, Copland and Bernstein.
