UW Summer Music Camp

Dates – June 11-17, 2017
Early Registration – by Monday, May 1st ($25 savings)
All Registrations Due – by Tuesday, May 30th (payment due)
Scholarships – Scholarship assistance is available for students with proven financial need.

Ensembles: Concert Band, Jazz Band, Orchestra, and Choir
Classes: Jazz Improvisation, Voice Class, Brass and Woodwind Masterclass, String Chamber Music, Music Appreciation, Music of the Movies, Beginning Guitar, Drum Major/Leadership, Musical Theatre, Conducting, Music Theory, and Musicianship/Ear-training
Lessons– Private lessons are available for most instruments
Clinicians – We have four excellent Ensemble conductors joining us:
- Band – Mr. Brent Rose, Kelly Walsh Highschool, Casper, WY
- Orchestra – Dr. Philip Edelman, University of Maine, Orono, MN
- Choir – Dr. Patrick Dill, Carroll University, Waukesha, WI
- Jazz Band – Dr. Ben Markley, University of Wyoming, Laramie, WY
Flute Intensive – Dr. Nicole Riner, UW Flute faculty, will host a 2 day flute intensive before Music Camp begins. Please encourage your flutists to attend.
