Trooper’s Outstanding Leadership Award
The Outstanding Leadership Award is an annual award that the Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps would like to present to the Outstanding Section of your band!. In providing this award, “The Troopers” hope to assist the Wyoming Marching Band Directors with an award opportunity for the smaller, individual, and specific section, that has given a positive contribution to their band by going above and beyond what it takes to achieve their goals through Team Spirit, Pride, Motivation, and Team Work. This in turn will create positive reinforcement for more sections in your band to model this positive attitude. Especially back home where it counts!
What differentiates this award from the general Superior Woodwind, Brass, Percussion or Auxiliary Award decided by judges at State Marching is that this honor will be presented to the individual section who is outstanding, not only at the State Marching Festival, but also throughout the entire marching band season!. Also, this award will be decided entirely on the individual Band Director’s Recommendation.
The outstanding Leadership Award Certificate for each band will be presented during the festival award ceremony.
